NORDIC TRAIL
The Nordic Trail package is designed for nature lovers who are looking to escape the daily grind and enjoy easy access to the tranquility of the national park.
The package includes
- Accommodation at Hotel Mathildedal with breakfast.
- Carefully prepared picnic lunch for a day in Teijo National Park.
- Guidance on the area’s trails so you can choose the path that’s right for you—a leisurely walk or a longer day hike.
The picnic includes a filled sandwich, a hot or cold drink, and the hotel’s own cinnamon bun. Special dietary needs will be accommodated in advance.
In Teijo National Park, you can experience the diversity of Finnish nature and the landscape shaped by ironworks. A unique experience is created by dammed lakes, stone structures, bogs, rugged cliffs, and deciduous forests.
Our hotel is located about one kilometer from Lake Matildanjärvi and Teijo National Park.

NORDIC HERITAGE
The Nordic Heritage package invites history and culture enthusiasts to explore Mathildedal’s unique ironworks setting at their own pace and in a relaxed atmosphere.
The package includes:
- Accommodation at Hotel Mathildedal.
- Coffee and cake at Café Mathildedal.
- During coffee, you’ll hear a brief, fascinating account of the village’s history, the ironworks’ development, and how Mathildedal evolved into the vibrant cultural destination it is today.
The package is available from May to September.

NORDIC EASE
Nordic Ease is a package for those who appreciate a touch of luxury, simplicity, and good food without the rush.
The package includes:
- Accommodation at Hotel Mathildedal
- A three-course dinner at Bistro Bruket.
Dinner is the perfect way to end the day, offering a chance to pause and enjoy high-quality ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere in a historic setting.
This package is available outside of summer only on weekends!
