THE MAGIC OF MATHILDEDAL
Explore the historic 19th-century ironworks setting of Mathildedal by the sea. During the tour, you’ll learn about the area’s industrial history, as well as the old factory buildings and their current uses.
The program (approx. 4 hours) includes:
- Lunch at Mathildan Marina or Bistro Bruket.
- A guided tour of the ironworks area.
- A visit to the “Teijon Tehtaat Through the Centuries” exhibition.
- Free time to explore the village and shop.
- The excursion culminates with a farewell coffee at Café Mathildedal, where homemade cinnamon buns are served.
The package is suitable for groups (min. 20 people), price starting at
42 € per person, including a guided tour, lunch, and coffee.

LITTLE MATILDA
Tutustu Mathildedalin historialliseen 1800-Explore Mathildedal’s historic 19th-century ironworks setting.
The package (1.5–2 hours) includes:
- Coffee brewed over an open fire and the house’s signature cinnamon buns at Café Mathildedal.
- A guided tour of the ironworks area.
- A visit to the “Teijon Tehtaat Through the Centuries” exhibition.
During the tour, there will be an opportunity for independent exploration and shopping in the ironworks village.
The package is suitable for groups (min. 20 people), starting at 18,50 € per person, including refreshments and a guided tour.
Available year-round, and the program can be customized according to the group’s wishes.

Guided Historical Ironworks Tour starting at 160 €/group
During the ironworks tour, we’ll tell you about the village’s history and present day, as well as the old ironworks buildings. We’ll also visit the “Teijo’s Factories Through the Centuries” museum. (1 hr)
Self-guided hike & open-fire dinner in a hut at Teijo National Park starting at 82 €/person
An atmospheric and relaxed dinner by the open fire in a hut, surrounded by nature. Our wilderness chef will prepare a delicious open-fire menu for you on-site using ingredients from local producers. (Includes food, service, hut rental, and national park fee).
Self-guided or guided hike in Teijo National Park
Guided tour 220 €/group
The route circles Lake Matildanjärvi for 6 km. You will receive maps and directions to the hut. Please dress appropriately for the weather. (3 hours)
Sensory walk in Teijo National Park starting at 260 €/group
A relaxing sensory walking tour in the national park led by a nature guide. During the tour, we use our senses to observe the diversity of nature and enjoy its therapeutic effects. The walking tour is suitable for everyone. (1.5–2 hours)
Wine and Lines Art Workshop starting at 62 €/person
Immerse yourself in art and enjoy a moment in the world of movement, music, and colors, freeing your mind from the hustle and bustle and stress. You’ll leave the workshop feeling reborn, with a unique work of art in hand. Led by visual artist and expressive art therapist Anna-Maija Junnila. Price includes instruction, materials, and a glass of sparkling wine. (1.5 hours)
Mathilda Marina’s Sauna & Hot Tub (2 hours) starting at 240 €/group
Beach Volleyball at Mathilda Marina starting at €10/person
A fun field competition to determine the Beach Volleyball champion. The price includes court reservation, equipment, and a water bottle. The winning team will be treated to sparkling wine on the Marina terrace. (1–1.5 hours)
Brewery tour at Mathildedal Village Brewery, starting at 35 €/person
The brewmaster explains the beer-making process and presents the beers. Souvenirs are available for purchase during the tour. (1 hour)
Adventure Mini-Golf, Padel & Tennis at Mathildedal Central Park, starting at 420 €/group
Non-stop activities: Adventure Mini-Golf, Padel & Tennis at Mathildedal Central Park. Drinks can be purchased on-site; billing based on consumption. (2 hours)
Self-guided or guided canoeing or mountain biking starting at 34 €/person
Self-guided or guided canoeing or mountain biking in the scenic Teijo National Park. Price includes rental, life jackets/helmets. (2 hours)
Down hill racing at Teijo Action Park starting at 39 €/person
Take the lift up and weave your way down the track. Compete for the downhill karting championship. Includes driving instruction, 5 runs down the track, and equipment: (kart, racing suit/rain gear, goggles, and helmet) (2 hours)
Yoga & singing bowl relaxation starting at 15 €/person
We’ll end the day guided by yoga instructor Katja Toivonen, relaxing with singing bowls and gentle yoga exercises. The exercises are suitable for everyone. (1–1.5 hours)
